I started my tech career almost thirty years ago. The initial driver was not passion but rather very ordinary and practical reasons.
My career took me to many physical and contextual places:
I travelled across the world and lived in Israel, Belgium and England. I was a captain in the Israeli air force, worked my way up the corporate ladder in the Israeli hi-tech, and co-founded two companies. I worked in the military, telecom, engineering, life sciences and business systems industries. I sure have some adventures and lessons under my belt.Â
I will share some in this fun and thought-provoking talk:
* Why a purposeful job is important, and how you can find purpose in less exciting positions.
* Why ownership is the key to success.
* Why you need to invent yourself every day.
Rina is the CEO of RadBee Ltd. RadBee helps medtech and pharma companies leverage the Atlassian tools to achieve regulatory compliance and operational efficiencies. Rina has supported many regulated teams through their Agile transformation and as they adopt DevOps practices. Marrying the FDA requirements with a fluent release cadence requires insight, skill and perseverance.
We come from this industry and have experienced first-hand the sweat and pain that goes into Quality and regulatory compliance. Rina cannot make the regulatory beast go away, but she surely knows how to tame it.
Prior to starting RadBee, Rina co-founded a medical devices company. In this role she was involved in the implementation of an ISO 13485 quality system and making submissions to the regulatory authorities in Europe and the United States. This gave her firsthand experience of the challenges of balancing innovation and compliance in life sciences operations.
Rina regularly writes and presents about issues related to compliance and how JIRA and Confluence can help.
