Die Vision von Vodafone ist es, eine New Generation Telco zu werden. Die Technik-Organisation ist dabei das Herzstück, um dieses Vorhaben erfolgreich zu realisieren und als echtes Technologie-Kommunikationsunternehmen unseren Kunden nicht mehr nur reine Konnektivität zu verkaufen, sondern darauf basierend neue Produkte und Services zu entwickeln und gleichzeitig noch stärkere Kundenbindungen aufzubauen. Zur Umsetzung der Strategie hat sich Vodafone dazu entschieden, Lean Portfolio Management nach dem Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) einzuführen, die IT-Delivery nach dem Framework auf- bzw. umzubauen und damit den „Design once, deploy many“-Ansatz zu unterstützen. Das Lean Portfolio Management & Transformation-Team innerhalb der Digital & IT Organisation ist für die Transformation über alle globalen Delivery Domains und den lokalen Märkten federführend verantwortlich, verbindet die Vodafone-Strategie mit der Umsetzung bis auf die Teamebene und sorgt für strategisches Alignment. Silke Eggert wird gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern ihres Führungsteams, bestehend aus Alena Keck und Meike Walbrunn, aufzeigen, welche Mission und Vision sie mit ihrem Team verfolgt und wie sie das Framework in der Praxis umsetzt. Dabei werden die Referentinnen über die Erfolgskriterien einer globalen Transformation dieser Größenordnung sowie über ihre bisher gesammelten „Lessons Learned“ sprechen und die Roadmap der Transformation vorstellen.

Passionate about driving change, setting up new capabilities and providing leadership in cross-functional complex transformation programmes, Silke Eggert is the Head of Lean Portfolio Management & Transformation in the global Digital & IT organisation in Vodafone. In this role, Silke is establishing Lean Portfolio Management for Digital & IT and responsible for the implementation of SAFe for Vodafone.

Silke has 25 years of successful management experience in large-scale transformation and technology integration programmes, customer service delivery, strategic alliance management/partner management and marketing in the ICT industry. She started to adopt and implement agile ways of working in 2018 and has put SAFe into practice for the largest OSS and BSS transformation programme for VodafoneZiggo in the Netherlands. She lives near Düsseldorf, Germany, with her husband and their two daughters. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, travelling, reading. Passionate about accelerating Digital Transformation with lean and agile principles at Scale, Alena Keck is the Head of Lean-Agile Center of Excellence driving and enabling Vodafone’s journey towards more Business Agility across Digital & IT.

In her previous roles she held different international positions in Europe and in the US and helped large global organizations in automotive to overcome challenges on their agile transformation journey. Alena started her agile journey at Daimler’s incubator known as “Lab1886”. Later on she was a strong catalyst of the Scaled Agile Transformation at the Digital Solution Centre at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA, led lean-agile transformation in 5 locations in the US and Mexico for Advanced Safety product line at Aptiv and most recently was part of Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence at Porsche, connecting transformation to the Digital Strategy and implementing Lean Portfolio Management.

Being a strong change agent, Alena thrives by creating strong transformation teams and growing Lean-Agile leaders, who take an active role in removing transformation roadblocks and driving the change.

Passionate about driving transformation and accompanying change in complex technology environments, Meike Walbrunn is leading the function Agile Portfolio Operations & Governance building up the Agile PMO to enable and strengthen the journey towards more Business Agility across Vodafone’s D&IT.

In her previous role, she already successfully built up a strong transformation team and helped the technology organization in the network, customer fulfilment and operations area to master challenges on its way to more efficiency, speed and higher customer satisfaction.
She started introducing and implementing agile working methods in 2018 as part of the first LACE team at Vodafone’s Enterprise IT in Germany and brought SAFe into practice for her program for the first time.
